Happy Lughnasad & Lammas
Happy Lughnasad (pronounced Loo-nah-sah) or Lammas to all my fellow Pagans and witches, and Christians (who celebrate Lammas).
Traditionally, August 1st is a time to celebrate the first harvest and give offerings of the first loaves to the deities in return for *protection from harm coming to our crops and to our farm animals.
*Not a bad idea with climate change destroying crops everywhere …
