Thanks for this. I stand with everything you wrote. Life is complicated. I've read plenty of stuff about Ted and the way the machine writes about Ted is very telling. If people want to read coherent writing from a living person who doesn't have the baggage of action they saddle Ted with to alienate his message, read anything by John Zerzan. Well done, Pauline. Brave & bold.
Thank you for sharing this tribute of an aspect of Ted Kacizynski that few people have bothered to examine. I see no need to downplay the damage he did in trying to wake the masses. He was one of many who have demonstrated how futile it is to take such drastic approaches.
I urge others to do their own explorations of Kaczynski’s warnings and suggestions. They can begin with his last book titled Anti-Tech Revolution: Why and How. Check out the review section under the book posted at Amazon.
I’ve given this some thought recently. I feel strongly that in our world acts of violence are part of the ecocidal illusion of control that pervades our culture. For me, radical awareness and acceptance of the severity of the human predicament leads to living in love and making a way for life even as we do hospice care for the Holocene. I understand the temptation to see violence as protecting nature, but I feel strongly that violence simply participates in the ecocidal process. Decades ago the phrase “sustain absolute vulnerability” came to me while meditating. This has been a spiritual touchstone for me all along the way.
He injured innocent people. He tried to kill innocent people. He made the environmental movement appear to be violent and crazy. He was not an asset to anyone or anything.
His methods were definitely questionable, his reasoning, however, was sound. The government has done a fine job of making anyone questioning this living arrangement appear violent or crazy. The Obama administration labeled my sweet Guy an eco terrorist.
Words are dangerous. The pen is often mightier than the sword, but never mightier than a corrupt kleptocracy like ours.

Guy is trying to save people's lives. Kaczynski's 'methods' permanently maimed an innocent woman and became an excuse for the 'ecoterrorist' label.
