This is why visual communication is so important, and so dangerous.

As for Americans not understanding the Greeks...a New Yorker would feel right at home.

Wow, living in Greece sounds like a great lesson in how to be assertive! When I was married to my ex, she would scream hateful words at me, then I would overhear her telling someone about our “conversation”, and she would relate how she “asked” or “told” me something. I was astonished!

Here in the US, I've often heard men addressing each other in a fairly aggressive manner in both speech and body language with no actual hostility implied - more like camaraderie. Now I'm wondering if there is a less sexist culture in Greece than we experience here in MAGAland..

🤣 men can hug and kiss each other in Greece without being mocked. So, maybe?

I have three granddaughters ages 12 14 & 16. I am their daily chauffeur. Communication with each is often challenging each human being I encounter. With them add another opportunity for incomplete communication. And then you add electronic devices in the mix in life can be a crapshoot. A good sense of humor and patience, and a strong education. Can you set the stage for an amazing experience on planet earth. Thanks for sharing Pauline.✅❤️
